What are my career prospects?

On completion of the Manicure and Nail Technician Diploma you can virtually start working straight away with practice. It is a great opportunity if you want to start your own business as a mobile nail technician, which can offer great financial rewards. Alternatively, you may prefer to work within a salon.  Without professional qualifications or training, it can be difficult to build a successful business in the beauty industry. The beauty industry is one of the most appealing and satisfying industries to work within and it has increasingly grown over the years. This has led to the demand for professionally qualified nail technicians, both male and female, to nearly double.

Does this course lead to an NVQ?

No.  It is impossible to gain an NVQ in 2 days.  However, your tutor Amanda has spent many years teaching and assessing NVQ’s which take many months to complete and students may only apply one nail a week. This can be very frustrating as lots of theory is covered and many written assessments.  Amanda has designed the Manicure and Nail Technician Diploma course to enable more people to gain a recoginsed qualification in the shortest possible time.

Will I be tied to the Nouveau Nail System?

We teach the UV Odourless Acrylic Nouveau Nail system as we have found that learners find this the easiest to use. Many clients like to know the system you will be applying to their nails and this also gives you an added advantage over other nail technicians. However we are independently accredited to the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists so you are free to buy supplies from any company you wish. I can’t believe I will pass in 2 days?

Over the years we have proved that the 2 day intensive Manicure and Nail Technician course has provided our learners with enough skills and knowledge to become very successful either in running their own business or working in a salon or on cruise ships. Once you have been taught all the techniques required to apply a full set of nails we know you can go away and practice in your own time without us charging you. We offer advice on the best textbooks to buy to further develop your skills as a nail technician.

We offer free advice and guidance after the course so you are never left on your own. However, the UV acrylic system is so easy to apply learners very rarely experience any problems. We have people who earn up to £100 per day, after practicing to build up their skill and speed, following our 2 day nail training course.
